Technical SEO

The unglamorous half: making sure a search engine can reach, read and rank what you have already published. Usually the cheapest points on the board.

Why it matters

What it costs you to leave this alone.

You have already paid for the pages. If a search engine cannot crawl them, load them quickly, or work out what they are about, none of that spend is earning. This is usually the cheapest ground to recover, because nothing new has to be written.

What you actually get

Deliverables, not activities.

01

A crawl audit with every blocking issue listed and prioritised by impact.

02

Page speed brought inside budget on a mid-range Android over a slow connection.

03

Structured data so your pages can be quoted rather than merely indexed.

04

A fixed sitemap, robots and canonical setup that stops you competing with yourself.

How it runs

What happens, and when.

Week one — the crawl

Every blocking issue found and listed, ranked by what it actually costs you rather than by severity label.

Weeks two to three — speed

Measured on a mid-range Android over a slow connection, because that is the device and network your customers are on, not the laptop the site was built on.

Weeks three to four — structure

Sitemap, robots, canonicals and internal linking fixed so your pages stop competing with each other.

Then — structured data

Schema so your pages can be read and quoted by search engines and assistants, not merely indexed.

Scope

What this does not include.

Naming the edges is what makes the rest credible. If you need something on this list, we will say so rather than sell it badly.

  • A redesign. We fix what is broken underneath; we do not change how the site looks unless it is the thing making it slow.
  • Hosting or server administration, though we will tell you plainly when the host is the bottleneck.
  • Writing the content. Technical work makes existing pages reachable; making them worth reaching is Content.

Questions

What people ask before they buy this.

My site is new. Do I still need this?

Often yes, and it is cheaper now. New sites built quickly tend to ship with blocked pages, missing canonicals and no structured data. Fixing that before you publish more is far less work than untangling it later.

Will you break my site?

Changes are made against a staging copy where one exists, and every change is listed before it is made. Nothing goes live without you seeing what changed and why.

How do you measure whether it worked?

Crawl errors resolved, pages indexed, and load time on a throttled mid-range Android. All three are numbers you can check yourself rather than claims.

How much does page speed actually matter here?

More than almost anywhere. Ethiopian connections are slow and data is expensive, so a heavy page is abandoned before it renders. It is also one of the few ranking factors entirely within your control.

Can you work with my existing developer?

Yes, and it is usually the fastest route. We produce the diagnosis and the specific fixes; your developer implements them and we verify.
